What we treat
Traima/PTSD
Emotional and psychological wounds caused by distressing events. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can develop after trauma, leading to flashbacks, anxiety, nightmares, or avoidance. Therapy helps restore safety, trust, and emotional balance.
Codependency
an excessive reliance on others for approval or a sense of identity. It often results in difficulty setting boundaries or prioritizing one’s needs. Treatment focuses on building independence, healthy relationships, and self-worth.
Depression
Depression affects how you feel, think, and function day to day. It can bring persistent sadness, loss of interest, fatigue, and feelings of hopelessness. Therapy helps uncover its root causes and teaches tools for emotional healing and resilience.
Relationship Issues
Struggles with communication, trust, or emotional intimacy can strain relationships. Therapy helps improve mutual understanding and rebuild a sense of connection and balance—whether between partners, family members, or friends.
Self Esteem
Low self-esteem can impact decisions, relationships, and overall happiness. Treatment focuses on challenging negative self-beliefs and fostering self-acceptance, confidence, and compassion.
Sleep or Insomnia
Insomnia or poor sleep often stems from stress, anxiety, or disrupted routines. Therapy explores underlying causes while offering strategies to restore restful, healthy sleep patterns.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
OCD involves unwanted thoughts and repetitive behaviors meant to reduce anxiety. Treatment helps understand these patterns and develop healthier coping methods to regain control and peace of mind.
Stress
Chronic stress can affect mood, concentration, and even physical health. Therapy teaches relaxation techniques, mindfulness, and perspective shifts to restore calm and improve well-being.
Anxiety
Anxiety manifests as persistent worry or fear that disrupts daily life. Therapeutic support helps identify triggers, manage symptoms, and build emotional tools to navigate challenges with greater ease.
Panic Attacks
Panic attacks are sudden bursts of intense fear or discomfort with physical sensations like rapid heartbeat or shortness of breath. Therapy helps reduce their frequency and intensity through grounding and cognitive techniques.
Life Transitions
Major life changes—such as career shifts, moving, divorce, or becoming a parent—can trigger stress or uncertainty. Therapy offers support to navigate transformation with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional stability.
Grief and Loss
Grief is a natural response to losing someone or something deeply meaningful. Therapy provides compassionate space to process pain, find understanding, and gradually rebuild a sense of hope and meaning.
Treatment Approaches
Evidence Based Therapy
Evidence-based therapy uses approaches proven through research to be effective. It emphasizes methods that have shown consistent success in helping people heal, grow, and develop lasting change.
Attachment-based
This approach explores how early relationships shape emotional patterns and connections in adulthood. Therapy works to build secure, healthy attachments and improve trust and communication in current relationships.
Emotionally Focused
Emotionally Focused Therapy helps individuals and couples better understand, express, and manage their emotions. It strengthens emotional bonds, encouraging deeper connection and mutual understanding.
Strength Based
This approach highlights your existing abilities and inner strengths rather than focusing solely on problems. Therapy helps you recognize and expand your unique resources to create positive, sustainable change.
Grief Work
Grief work supports you in processing loss at your own pace. It provides compassionate guidance as you navigate pain, find acceptance, and begin to integrate loss into a renewed sense of purpose and meaning.
Relational
The relational approach emphasizes the healing power of genuine, supportive connection within the therapeutic relationship itself. It focuses on how you relate to yourself and others, fostering growth through authentic interaction.
Poistive Psychology
Positive Psychology focuses on what’s right—your strengths, values, and capacity for joy. It helps you cultivate optimism, gratitude, and resilience to build a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Mindfulness-based Techniques
Mindfulness encourages being present in each moment without judgment. Therapy draws on meditation, breathing, and awareness practices to reduce stress, increase focus, and improve emotional regulation.
Solution Focused Brief (SFBT)
SFBT emphasizes finding practical solutions and small steps toward improvement rather than dwelling on problems. It helps you identify what’s working and build upon it to achieve meaningful change.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps strengthen your motivation to make positive changes. It supports autonomy and self-awareness, empowering you to move toward your goals with confidence.
